Dr. Oyewole is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Primegrid Renewable Energy, Incorporated. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in academia, government, and expertise in the energy industry, Dr. Oyewole is a visionary and entrepreneur with overall responsibility for the company’s global operations.

He has been involved in numerous energy-related capital projects, managing feasibility studies, developing impact assessments, models, and analyses for renewable energy systems, installations, upgrades, retrofits, and rehabilitation projects in the public and private sectors. His extensive experience in the energy and environmental sectors, with expertise in enhancing cost-effectiveness for renewable energy projects has increased the quality of services for many companies and led to considerable savings in capital and operational costs.

His commitment to promoting clean air and energy sustainability stems from his time in the United States Government with the Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB) where he investigated several environmental pollution incidents, spills, and industrial accidents such as refinery and gas plant explosions, chemical releases, combustible dust explosions, fertilizer plant explosions, and other catastrophic incidents. He provided technical guidance and input to various safety and health standards and environmental regulations issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other federal, state, and local agencies.

He is also the founder of EHS GRADES International, a global organization that specializes in environmental health and safety performance management. Before joining the CSB, he was a professor at Pennsylvania State University’s Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering. He has several peer-reviewed scientific journal publications and co-authored numerous book chapters including the Handbook of Loss Prevention Engineering.

Dr. Oyewole graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc with Honors) in Industrial and Production Engineering from the University of Ibadan. He earned both his master’s (M.Eng) and doctorate (Ph.D.) degrees in industrial and manufacturing engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in the United States.
