About Mr. Wriggle

Mr. Steven Wriggle is the President and Chief Operations Officer of Primegrid Renewable Energy for North and South America (The Americas). He has worked in the energy sector for over 20 years with considerable experience in the management of petrochemical plants and incident investigation, including emergency preparation and response. Mr. Wriggle has collaborated with clients in a variety of industries such as industrial, civil manufacturing, and petrochemical environments such as refineries, power plants, oil platforms, and rigs. He has extensive experience as a safety officer with fire and risk management expertise.

Most recently, he was President and Chief Operating Officer at EHS GRADES International and a specialized energy regulatory and environmental compliance enforcement executive. He provides management oversight and technical assistance to healthcare facilities around the world in the development of regional solar markets through regulatory reform and program implementation. He holds multiple certifications, including Certified Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, Certified Fire, and Explosives Investigator, an EMT-I (A). He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (minor in Fire Sciences) from Columbia Southern University and is also pursuing a Master’s in Occupational Health and Safety.

Mr. Wriggle has advanced expertise that he has honed over the years, such as hazard identification and risk avoidance. His strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities stemmed from evaluations and inspections for continuous process improvement. He is detail-oriented and a subject matter specialist in enforcement and regulatory standards, with experience of the International Fire Code (IBC/ICC), OSHA, EPA, and Texas Administrative Code. He is proficient in reading, writing, and interpreting laws, rules, and guidelines, and he assists businesses in putting them into practice.

His incident investigation capabilities are built on lessons learned from previous incidents, with an emphasis on hazard identification and prevention-focused on philosophy and hypothesis practices to prevent potential accidents. In combination, he has helped several companies to apply the methodologies and help businesses around the world save millions of dollars in savings. Mr. Wriggle has considerable experience developing a regulatory framework for renewable energy systems through effective interpretation of ordinances, legal, and regulatory procedures to enable clients to extend funding opportunities for on-site solar projects while adopting best practices and business ethics.
